Registered Nurse, Critical Care Float (ICU/Emerg/Acute Care) – Powell River Practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC) as well as within a client and family centred care model and the vision and values of the organization. Is utilized for relief work on various units to provide nursing care to high risk, critically ill clients with unpredictable outcomes and provides emergency care to clients presenting with a wide variety of symptoms/illnesses requiring varied care including the use of specialized equipment, such as acute trauma and multi-system failure, psychological imbalance, sexual assault and drug-induced systems, both by working independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
