As an Accommodation Advisor, you'll get the opportunity to work with VCH employees who are ill or injured and provide advice, support and education related sustainable accommodations to help them integrate back into the workplace in meaningful and productive employment. You’ll also get to collaborate with the WorkAbility Team and Workplace Health to foster safe and effective return to work plans and makes recommendations to the Employer on the accommodation issues as required.
Part Labour Relations, part job-matching and always relationship building, this is a wonderful opportunity to leverage your HR, LR and communication skills to make a direct contribution and impact to the success of our employees.
Key Accountabilities include:
Education, Skills and Knowledge:
University degree in a related field, Human Resources certificate and/or Disability Management certificate (NIDMAR), plus five (5) to seven (7) years of recent related experience in a unionized health care environment, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
