Job Title: Behavioural Management Consultant Foster Parent Support
Work Site: Child & Youth Mental Health,  East Admin
Status: Regular Full Time - (1.00 FTE)
Start Date: As soon as possible 
Salary: $32.39 - $40.40 per hour
Hours:

0830-1700

Changing to rotating shifts between 0830-2000 in the near future

JOB SUMMARY:

Within the context of a client and family centered care model and in accordance with established standards of professional practice, and vision and values of the organization, works as part of a multidisciplinary community mental health team providing treatment and consultation according to best practices for children experiencing a severe behavioural, social and emotional problems. Performs diagnostic behavioural assessments, forms diagnostic impressions and develops and implements individualized treatment plan in collaboration with team. Provides treatment services, often by outreach, including functional assessments, family sessions, parent groups and limited individual child counselling. Establishes and maintains relationships based on respect; initiates and participates in case meetings; collaborates, consults, and provides support to colleagues; provides consultative services with school personnel and other community resources; and aids client and family access to services. Participates in team meetings, continuing education, conferences, and/or corporate initiatives and engages in on-going team planning, development, evaluation and quality improvement activities.
