Director, Medical Imaging (Informatics)

We now have an opportunity for a Director, Medical Imaging (Informatics) to join the medical imaging leadership team. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, Medical Imaging, you will ensure that the strategic objectives and operational plans of the portfolio are delivered within a client centred environment that spans four health authorities. Working with a diverse range of stakeholders and building strong, meaningful, and trusting relationships will be a key factor to success of this role. A forward thinker, you demonstrate competencies which value respect, performance excellence, a learning organization, and the courage to innovate.
As the ideal candidate you bring significant leadership experience with a focus on leading and delivering complex projects and/or programs in a comparable health system, with informatics and/or medical imaging being the focus. Alternatively, experience from IT or a private sector consulting organization will be considered. Having worked with a variety of stakeholders within large multi‐site, multi-organization groups that are responsible for regional initiatives will be crucial. You bring a track record of success participating in the leadership, development, and implementation of best practices as it relates to medical imaging and informatics. You are a team player who is a strong and visible leader that inspires confidence and has a proven ability to lead across a large geographic area or multi-site environment.
