Manager, Public Health- Infant, Child and Youth Services

Building on the philosophy of providing the best care, we now have an opportunity for a Manager, Public Health- Infant, Child and Youth to join the leadership team in Vancouver.  Reporting to the Operations Director Public Health, Child and Youth Mental Health, Vancouver Community, the Manager will oversee a portfolio that includes public health services supporting Infant, Child and Youth at two community health centres; Raven Song and Three Bridges.  With a diverse client base, setting the framework for expectations and enabling the team to deliver on the work to serve this client population will be key.

 

As the ideal candidate, you will bring progressively senior leadership experience that includes responsibility for the provision of community health from a community health centre setting in an interdisciplinary environment.  Having led the implementation of public health initiatives ideally in the areas of infant, child and youth development is an asset.  Experience may have been gained from a   health authority, government, municipality or a large, complex organization with similarities to a health     authority. Alternatively, experience may also come from a not-for-profit organization that provides similar services.
