Job Title: Occupational Therapist 2 - Peer Support Coordination
Work Site: South Community Health Centre
Status: Regular Full Time 
Start Date: As soon as possible
Salary: $33.14 - $41.35 per hour
Hours: 0830 - 1700 inlcuding one hour unpaid meal break

Practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC) as well as within a client and family centred care model and the vision and values of the organization. Provides occupational therapy assessments and treatment using current theory and evidence based practice. Works in a team based environment and is required to utilize occupational therapy theory, knowledge, skills and competencies, as well as teaching and learning principles and processes to develop, implement and evaluate OT service . Consults, confers and collaborates with program and team members as well as the OT Practice Coordinator for MH&A Vancouver, in the promotion of continuous clinical quality improvement, support to interdisciplinary research and in coordinating activities required for progressive clinical practice. Provides support and guidance to designated peer support workers and facilitates contractual/scheduling activities for peer support workers.
