Health services and recreational activities for seniors and people with disabilities

Adult Day Services are supportive community programs for seniors and people with disabilities to help them remain at home and provide support to their caregivers.

They offer a range of health, personal, social and recreational services and activities in a safe, caring environment. 

It is one of the many Home and Community Care services we offer.

What services are provided?

Some examples of services include:

  • Health care, such as health monitoring and giving medications
  • Help with personal care, such as bathing programs
  • Health education
  • Therapeutic social programs and recreational programs, such as discussion and exercise groups
Who's eligible?

To be eligible, you must meet the eligibility requirements for receiving Home and Community Care services. You can attend a day program and receive other services such as home support at the same time.  The number of days you can attend this program is based on service availability and your personal needs.
