Vancouver School Health Manual - Section 17

We have a number of programs available for refugees and new Canadians.

Bridge ClinicBridge Health Clinic is a free, primary health care centre for recent refugees who have limited access to health care services. Services include:

  • Screening for communicable diseases such as parasites, hepatitis, HIV and TB
  • Immunizations
  • Mental health
  • Women’s health
  • Children’s health
  • Referrals to community services such as food banks and housing

Circles of Care & ConnectionProvides settlement and outreach services for refugee families with young children 0-6 years old focused on early childhood development.

REACH Community Health CentreREACH aims to meet the medical, dental and cultural needs of its clients. It focuses on prevention and programs that reflect the ongoing needs of the Grandview-Woodlands community.
