Leon Judah Blackmore Pavilion elevator modernization project
On February 6, 2023, the elevators in VGH's Leon Judah Blackmore Pavilion will begin undergoing replacement. Each elevator will be modernized with current technology and design to improve the in-hospital experience for our staff, medical staff, patients and visitors. The Leon Judah Blackmore elevator modernization project is expected to complete in spring 2025.
Patient care and the efficient delivery of critical services will remain our top priorities throughout the project.
Due to the elevator modernization, some elevators will be temporarily out of service or reserved for authorized traffic at any given time. Please follow signage for any services changes.
