Harm reduction: Toward the Heart 

Daytox is an intensive outpatient day program for those wishing to change their relationship with substances. Daytox staff include counsellors and health-care workers who use a bio-psycho-social model of treatment for adults age 19 and older. Programming includes educational and counselling groups, such as relapse prevention, working through anxiety, building life skills, understanding trauma, meditation/mindfulness groups, acupuncture as well as daily morning check-ins.

Daytox provides one-on-one support from addiction support workers and masters-level counsellors. Daytox is a short-term program designed to be completed in 6-8 weeks, with 60 hours required for completion and alumni groups for ongoing support. Daytox is committed to providing trauma-informed, culturally safe, LGBTQ+ inclusive services.

    Daytox provides services for adults 19 years and older living in Vancouver. 

  • Get a referral

    Daytox is a self-referral service, you can sign-up by calling our main line: (604) 675-2455 or by calling Access Central 1-(866)-658-1221. We also take walk-in referrals during regular business hours 8:30am-4:30pm Monday to Friday.

Parking & Transportation

If taking a bus, please take #20, #9 or #99 and get off at East Broadway and Commercial Drive. If taking the Sky Train, go to the Expo or Millennium Line to Broadway-Commercial station.

There is underground pay parking directly beneath our building. Access this lot from the lane on the east side of Woodland street or the west side of Commercial Drive. Surrounding street parking is also available.

At Robert and Lily Lee Family Community Health Centre, you can get basic health care and learn how to keep yourself healthy. We provide services for people of all ages. Detox Services

Adult withdrawal management services, also known as detox, provide nursing care and physician support for a safe, supportive environment for people experiencing acute withdrawal from substances.
