Drug checking is a harm reduction service that allows people to determine what is in their substances and potentially take action to reduce the risk of any associated harms.

In collaboration with community partners, free, anonymous drug-checking services are available in Vancouver and other communities across Vancouver Coastal Health.

How to access

  • Walk in

    Walk in during regular hours and speak with a staff member to access drug-checking services.

SisterSpace

SisterSpace is a safe, clean supported environment where women can inject their drugs inside with other women who care about their safety and security. If they choose, they can connect to addiction, health care and community services, information about which and referrals will be made on-site.
