Harm reduction: Toward the Heart 

The Vancouver Eating Disorders Program provides community based outpatient support and access to treatment for youth and adults with eating disorders.

The program liaises with the Eating Disorders Programs at B.C. Children's Hospital, St. Paul’s Hospital, and the Looking Glass Residence should clients require more intensive support.

How to access

  • Check eligibility

    • Please see page 6 of our referral form for more information on diagnostic criteria.
    • Clients must be residents of Vancouver. We also see adults 19 or older who live in West/North Vancouver. North Shore children and youth must be referred to the North Shore Youth Eating Disorder Program.
  • Get a referral

    A referral by a primary care provider is required.  Fax completed referral forms to (604) 675-3894.

  • Information session for adults

    As part of the referral process, adult clients are required to attend an information session. These sessions are held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month from 5 to 6 p.m. on Zoom.
