Overdose outreach teams provide connections for people who have recently experienced opioid overdose and/or are at high risk for opioid overdose to substance use care and support.

    Referral from a health-care provider is not required. Self-referrals are accepted.

Hours of operation

The service is open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and available over the phone from 6p.m. to 8p.m.

On weekends and statutory holidays, the team is available by phone from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Notice of change for phone availability 

Effective Saturday, October 19, we will no longer be answering calls on the weekends (Saturday, Sunday and statutory holidays). Hours remain available on Mon-Fri 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
