Rapid Access Spinal Clinic at Lions Gate Hospital

​We provide acute spinal patients potentially requiring surgery with expedited consultation appointments with a neurosurgeon or orthopedic surgeon specialist.

How to access

  • Check eligibility

    ​A physician's referral is required based on specific clinical eligibility criteria that are designed to focus on patients with spinal conditions that may benefit from surgery. 

  • Get a referral

    Referral is required. Have your care provider completed the Rapid Access Spinal Clinic referral form and fax the completed form to (604) 984-3748.

We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Visiting hours may vary depending on the unit. Please call the Lions Gate Hospital main line at (604) 988-3131 to determine visiting times before your visit.

Lions Gate Hospital is located on 231 East 15th Street in North Vancouver.

​Paid visitor parking is available in the hospital parkade on 15th Street, east of St. Georges Avenue.

Electric vehicle charging

Designated electric vehicle charging stations are available for patients and visitors. Charging is available for up to 4 hours at Level 2 stations and up to 1 hour at Level 3 stations. Please review our electric vehicle charging station etiquette for more information.
