8100 Granville buliding

We are an interdisciplinary team with a public health nurse, a physiotherapist and an occupational therapist who provide services to Richmond community-dwelling older adults and their families.

The program is equally dedicated to direct care and to building community capacity around fall prevention. Our team provides education and resources to Richmond residents over age 65 who have had a fall or are at risk of falling. These may include:

  • home exercise programs,
  • home safety,
  • equipment use and safety devices,
  • safe use of medications,
  • information about healthy living to stay independent, and
  • community resources.
