X-Ray at Squamish General Hospital

X-ray is a safe and widely used medical imaging technique that utilizes electromagnetic radiation to create detailed images of the body's internal structures.

How to access

  • Get a referral

    Have your physician complete a Medical Imaging Requisition form.

  • Walk-in basis

    No appointment is needed. Patients are welcome to walk in for an X-ray. Bring your completed medical imaging requisition form and BC medical services card.

  • Monday:   8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday:   8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday:   8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Thursday:   8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Friday:   8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Saturday:   10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Sunday:   10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Closed for lunch daily from 12 pm to 1 pm and on stat holidays. Outpatient X-rays are not by appointment; they are taken as walk-ins on a first-come, first-serve basis. Priority is given to emergency and admitted patients. Due to the emergency demands of more critical patients, the outpatient X-ray window may be closed accordingly.
