VCH Careers is undergoing a small technical issue with our systems. We are aware of the issue, and are working diligently to fix it. Please check back later today and we should be back up and running. Thank you for being patient, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

North Shore

Enjoy a great mix of city and outdoor life on Vancouver’s North Shore. We have some of the mildest weather in Canada with the coastal marine climate. Prepare to fall in love. Year-round nature trails, seaside strolls as well as winter downhill and cross-country skiing are minutes from your door. Coffee shops, boutiques and great restaurants dot the retail area along the shore of the Burrard Inlet. The homes, indeed the workplaces, can’t help but come with a view of the mountains, the ocean or both!

Meet Our Staff

“I wanted to move to the west coast to enjoy life in the mountains, snowboarding and kiteboarding. Working at Lions Gate Hospital has been a great opportunity and has allowed me to move across the country and accomplish my life goals,” says Kyle, Mechanical Supervisor at Lions Gate Hospital.

“The team at LGH is very supportive. Anytime there is an emergency, whether it’s plumbing, or electrical related the team comes together no matter what trade or professional background they have.”

“As a Health Care Worker, I feel that we can make a tremendous difference not only for our client’s overall well-being, but also in creating peace of mind for their family members,” says Jan, Community Health Worker, North Shore and Bowen Island Community. Jan loves helping clients in their homes where they are surrounded by familiar things they love. She also loves that every day is different and that every client is unique in their own way.

“I believe that our decisions should be based on client centred care, and I am so grateful that my supervisor and our schedulers support me by giving me the flexibility to make each day as efficient and effective as possible.”
