Opportunities in our UPCCs
Urgent and Primary Care Centres (UPCC) provide care for people with urgent, non-life-threatening health concerns that need same-day care, but who don’t require a visit to the emergency department. Medical staff and health-care professionals provide team-based care. The centres are an additional service in the community, working in concert with all touchpoints for care. VCH currently operates six UPCCs.
We have exciting opportunities for medical staff and health care professionals to join our expanding UPCCs teams. Medical Office Assistant (MOA)
As a member of Medical Office Assistant team at the UPCC, you will be at the forefront of delivering essential healthcare services to our community. By performing registration and clerical support for the Urgent and Primary Care Centre , you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our facility, enabling efficient patient care and support for our medical staff. Physicians
As a physician at a UPCC, you'll discover unique opportunities to integrate your expertise in family or emergency medicine within the urgent care setting. Many of our UPCCs maintain urgent access to onsite and offsite imaging.
