Stroke prevention clinics help people with a recent history of transient ischaemic attacks (TIAs) or minor strokes not requiring hospitalization but needing early medical evaluation and possible intervention.
What to expect
The Stroke Prevention Clinic is an acute response clinic run by the Stroke Program at Vancouver General Hospital.
Our mission is to help you if you have had recent histories of TIA's or minor strokes not requiring hospitalization but requiring early medical evaluation and possible intervention. You will be evaluated by our stroke neurologists.
