How to access mental health and substance use services in the Sea-to-Sky area
Contact our intake teams for help finding non-life-threatening mental health or substance use support if you live or stay in the Sea to Sky area, which includes Squamish, Whistler, Pemberton and surrounding areas.
When you call or walk in, our teams can connect you to the right services or resources when and where you need them.
Free interpreting services are also available in other languages.

Emergency Department at Squamish General Hospital
For emergencies, call 9-1-1 or go to the emergency department at your closest hospital.
Squamish Mental Health and Substance Use Services
Mental health and/or substance use services are offered within the Squamish Mental Health and Substance Use Services space for adults aged 24 or older living or staying in Squamish.
Whistler Health Care Centre
Mental health and/or substance use services are offered within the Whistler Health Care Centre for adults aged 24 or older living or staying in Whistler.
Pemberton Health Centre
Mental health and/or substance use services are offered in the Pemberton Health Care Centre for adults aged 24 or older living or staying in Pemberton and surrounding areas.

Child and youth mental health and substance use services in the Sea to Sky area
Foundry Sea to Sky offers young people ages 12 to 24 access to mental health and substance use support, peer support and social services.

Adult Community Support Services
This service provides a broad range of coordinated mental health and substance use services for adults aged 19 or over including specialized assessments and consultations, case management services, rehabilitation and vocational services as well as psychosocial rehabilitation programming.

This harm reduction service allows people to determine what is in their substances and potentially take action to reduce the risk of any associated harm. Walk into the clinic to access this service.

Intensive Case Management (ICM) Team at Squamish Mental Health & Substance Use Services
This service provides support to adults aged 19 or older who are experiencing severe mental health and substance use concerns, chronic unmet medical needs, and barriers to accessing services.

Ketamine Intervention Program at Squamish General Hospital
Referral from a health-care provider is required. This service are for adults who have not benefited from other antidepressants and therapy for Treatment-Resistant Depression (TRD).

Older Adult Outreach Program (OAOP)
This service provides case management and caregiver support to older adults aged 65 or older who are struggling with a cognitive or progressive memory disorder with an associated psychiatric and/or behavioural management concern.
